Ooh, this version ends much happier than the last version I read a while back. I loved it so much, Ryan and Kelly are the best, and broken Ryan with Kelly there to fix him is also the best.

Wow. Josephine, this was fantastic. I have to admit that I generally kind of gloss over non-JAM stories (I'm that shallow). Seeing that you were the author of this, though, I had to read it. I love your take on the Kelly-Ryan relationship. Truly fantastic.

Wow, I really enjoyed this! I love how sad and self aware your Kelly is, but that she's still Kelly (haha 2003 Brad Pitt), and that she knows that something is wrong with him without him having to say. And the note he leaves at the end is heartbreaking and perfect.

This story = perfection. I love it so much.
I agree with you about the dynamic of Ryan and Kelly. They aren't perfect, but they just might be perfect for each other. One thing is for sure, Ryan needs Kelly. Dark, sad, and beautiful. Ugh, so true.
Author's Response: bailey, i'm so glad you enjoyed this story. ryan and kelly become increasingly interesting and difficult to write as the show goes on (mostly due to ryan's druggie character arc), and i'm always worried that i don't get them quite right. i think ryan does need kelly, in ways he hasn't even realized. rnrnthank you for your kind review :)
