I loved the new spin on it and I also loved that you went into so much detail - I never would have remembered to give Michael's mom's name a different last name from after she married "Jeff"! Good job!
Author's Response: I happen to love sticking in little details like that, but it only works when I get it right, which I don't always. :P Anyway, I'm glad you liked this little story. I had fun writing it.

Well, considering who her son is, I'm not all that surprised that she had more success with Jim. I mean, she didn't exactly win the kid lottery when Michael emerged from her womb.

Haha! This was great. Its got Michael, and, yeah, lots of Michael, but its Michael through another person's eyes. And michael is such a child, its great. It makes sense.
And she is the one responsible for Jim/Pam/The Job. Hmm... I can accept that.

Michael, Michael, Michael. I don't know what to make of that man sometimes. But apparently this is one thing I can make of him. Or about him. Or whatever.
As for Jo being responsible, I'm not sure I really buy it, because it would be much cuter to have Jim just realize his feelings all on his own, but this works too and it worked out really well for my story.

This is great, such an interesting look into Michael, Pam and Jim.
I loved this: Sometimes you really do have to interfere. Besides, if you can’t fix your own children’s lives, you might as well try to fix everyone else’s.
Author's Response: I'm really glad you liked it. I think I started writing this as a way to figure out how Michael turned out the way he did, but I now think that Michael just defies explanation. Thanks for the review.
