Ooooof. Karen. Poor, poor Karen. I mean, this hurts for Pam and Jim, too, but seeing as we know how this ends for them, maybe this is a necessary bit of pain along the way. This feels a lot like the Karen who attempts to rip down Pam's art show flyer - Karen kind of at the end of her rope and lashing out at the knowledge somewhere inside her that she's fighting a losing battle.

Interesting! It's a good take on Jim's reflections on the morality of what he's doing, which gets short shrift in fic a fair bit. This seemed like a realistic glimpse into his thought process.

Man, I want to bash Karen over the head with that teapot. I actually felt my heart seize a little when it went flying out of Pam's hands. Pretty sad, huh? I'm fairly pathetic that way.

I usually don't have a problem with Karen--I think she was very much a victim in the Jim/Pam saga. But after breaking the teapot, if Pam stabbed her with a broken shard of the teapot, it would be deserved. This was great!
