These seem more in line with the brothers we saw on the show.Jim so came from a different house than they did. And alcohol makes people stupid.

But I still want them to have a perfect, fairytale wedding!

Awesome! I love imperfect JAM moments, simply because they always manage to make them perfect anyway.

And screw Jim's brother. I was all expecting them to be super cool and awesome and joking but instead acted like a-holes. Ugh.

Good job, though. This was fun to read. And yay for Angry!Jim.

Author's Response: Thanks a lot! :)

Pam:  Thanksgiving at the Halperts is going to be a little awkward this year though.

What a great line.  Poor Pam! How heartbreaking and embarassing to have to sit through that toast.  I'm glad Jim was able to hold his own (that's what she said) against his brother.   Nicely done.

Author's Response: Thank you!  I didn't want to have it resolved where they made up at the end.  I figured it would take Jim and Pam a long time to forgive something like that.

I enjoyed this. There's nothing better in a story than a character to hate, and let's face it: Roy's getting a bit stale. Also, Jim can't hold his liquor.

Author's Response: I agree.  I think since the writers put those assy brothers out there, might as well embrace them as villains.  Thanks for reading!

I loved this! I'm in the camp that would love to see Jim lose it once, but I agree it will never happen on the show, so thanks for writing this. And what a catalyst in Jim's douchy brother. I think the reveal of how Jim handled Casino Night would the kind of thing that would finally get to Jim, because he seems to want to keep private things private. (I also think him drinking a bottle of vodka that night is not too farfetched either - there is a true paucity of fanfic about Jim spending that night alone) I love how Michael had one of his moments of clarity and saved the day - nice turn around from Phyllis' wedding.
The talking heads were perfect. I love everything this story chooses to be.

Author's Response: Thanks so much.  I wanted Michael to have some redemption for the last wedding he ruined.  :)
