OK, I like your happy. You don't make them sound immature.

This is exactly the fluffy journey through JAM history Niagara deserved.

I absolutely love this. Oh, five and one were just so wonderful. They were all great, but those two really got me.

"He can’t help but laugh with her, because she’s got way more than that."

I love that line. Great job!

I should never have doubted you zippity! This is utterly gorgeous and as always very original. Even though you're writing happy Jim and Pam, there is that thread of almost melancholy throughout that others have mentioned, which anchor the story brilliantly.

It's not too sweet and the moment in Halloween is so believable and captures the strange co-dependent dynamic they had back then. As an ardent fan of Jim and Pam, obviously I adored five and I also love that you had them have a boy - my personal preference which is rare to find in fanfiction. :)

Thanks so much for sharing this - it's certainly added to the wedding high. I hope it's not too greedy to hope you'll be inspired to write more soon, be it Jim and Pam or Jim and Karen (I always have the wedding clips to console me afterwards ;)).

Author's Response: Thanks so much! Oh, I am writing more--mostly because I have so much real-life stuff to do--though I think that same reason will cause me to sort of vanish for a little bit.

I like this. It's happy, but not too sickly sweet, and there's a thread of sadness running trough it that counterbalances the joy quite nicely. Don't get me wrong, I like happy, but a touch or two of darkness are welcome too.

The time shifts are a nice touch, in this case jumping around works better than a straight chronological order probably would have. And I love that you end at the beginning, with the plan A.

Do I remember correctly that you once talked about having trouble with too much exposition vs. not enough? Well, in any case, it's not a problem here.

Last but not least: it's great that you took up a challenge and wrote something outside your personal comfort zone (if I understand you correctly) but don't be afraid to hit us with the angst either. We can take it, especially now, with "our" couple in such a happy place in the show. Not that I think you would be "afraid", per se, but... I don't even know what I mean. Shutting up now. Oh wait, no, I know what I mean. You've proved that you can do humor, fluff (ish) and angst, so keep flexing those writing muscles with all kinds of exercises. That's probably what I mean. Hopefully it makes at least some sense.

I hope to read more from you!

Author's Response: Thanks so much! I can't write TOTAL fluff, I always need a touch of the angst that defined Jim and Pam until season 4 or so. Also, I'm glad the time-shifts worked. My expository trouble really comes in with big gaps in time, which is why it was an issue with "Cold," but here I was able to fit things within a pretty well-defined chronology. So I got lucky. I'm glad my fluff(ishness) works as well as my angst. Thanks so much for reading! I can't promise more Jim/Pam, but I can promise more writing.

Can the happy tears stop today? Do I want them to? No way! This was so sweet. One of my favorite things a writer can do is entwine glimpses of the past with present and make them sway back and forth in a sentimental dance. Loved every beautiful word.

Author's Response: Thanks so much!

zippity_zoppity, I am so sincerely touched by this story, by this glorious happy.  I apologize for not getting to it sooner.  I've been in a post-wedding haze, you see.  I am adding this to my favorites and can't wait to read it again and savor every single word.  And I would say that even if you hadn't thought of me.  I'm hoping this trend continues, because you're every bit as good at the happy as you are at the angst :)

Author's Response: Thanks for inspiring me! I like being challenged. And yes, I am writing more--both happy and angst, and often a mix of both. I'm actually thinking of doing a multichapter thing, though everything seems to be coming out AU at the moment.

So perfectly sweet (Batman and plan a are my favorites)! A truly lovely piece and just the sort of recap we need after a great episode like last nights wedding!

Author's Response: Thank you so much!

This is great, z_z. I love your style! Love that Jim knows his Batman collection down to the issue number. Loved this:

Her bottom lip twitches, just a bit, but he notices like he always does and that’s when he knows that if he tries to kiss her she will let him, just this once, just because of how close she thought she was to losing him forever.

And the 'emergency emergency backup bag.' Ah, the nervous worry of new parents.

But I think this is my favorite little bit:

(not because she can’t stand the thought of watching him hurt, not now not ever)

Nice work.

Author's Response: Thanks! I tried to capture the little things between Jim and Pam, both before and after they got together. Glad to see you liked it!

Oh man...the tie in the box...are you attempting to kill me? Good Lord almighty. This is good stuff.

Author's Response: No fatalities intended! I prefer read counts to body counts. Thanks so much!

So cute! The tie thing had me squeeeeing! This is the only part of me you didn’t get a year ago. Amazing!

Author's Response: Thanks so much! I like to imagine he kept the remnants of that tie. I know I would have.

zippity_zoppity, I think you need to write more happy fics :D Thank you for writing this perfect accompaniment to the perfect episode last night. You truly have a gift with words, using so little yet conveyed so much. The five trinkets you chose were, for the lack of a better word, perfect. It highlighted their relationship from the past (with Jim's now famous "Plan A") to the future (what a great note Jim wrote to Pam).

Excellent, excellent job!

Author's Response: Haha, I'm trying with the new happy! Fair warning, a lot of it is coming out Jim/Karen, but there's some traditional Jam too, somewhere. Jim's Plan A is pretty much my favorite talking head in the entire series. I've always loved the little gifts Jim and Pam share, too, so this one sort of just happened.

Author's Response: Thanks so much! As for my opinion on the episode...well, let's just say that I never intended to write Jim/Pam before I saw it.
