This was lovely, I really enjoyed it a lot, his desperation for her and how this little thing just snowballed into him proposing.

Sorry to hear about your in real life issues with your parents divorce. Can't help with the loofa, my best guess would be to try Target.

Author's Response: Thanks for the review, Deedldee! And no worries about the parental issues - good comes out of every bad, and I'm not one to wallow in the bad ;) And I found the loofa! I searched high and low and finally found one in a Walgreens in an obscure location in western Massachusetts. Beer me five!

Not all parents are dysfunctional. Mine are wonderful to each other after 35 years. Granted, they have almost no idea how to relate to their adult daughter, but they have a great marriage.
This was a really fine image. It takes so many little things to make a place into "our home." And I do think that sometimes there's one little thing that puts you over the edge, that says "this is it."
I have a hook on a suction cup in my shower and I hang my loofah on that.

Author's Response: Andtheivy, you're a peach. Thanks for the review :)

I'm part of the divorced parent's club too *does a secret handshake*

This was STUNNING. I have no words for how beautiful this was. Jim is such a sap, and I heart it

Author's Response: Does this secret handshake have a fist bump? Because I refuse to be part of a club where its handshake doesn't have at least a fist bump and *wishful thinking* an elbow bump, some spirit fingers and a little booty shaking. That's just how I roll haha

Thanks for the review!

Sara, this makes my heart hurt.  Beautifully written.  This, in particular, really got me:  "He’d had exactly 5 girlfriends in his life before Pam...He’d loved all of them."  Sending you a big hug.  Thanks for sharing.

Author's Response: Ya know Nancy, sometimes a hug and a review is exactly what a girl needs. Thanks, lady :)

Aw, stjoe's, that was wonderful. It really rings true that it's some little tiny thing that almost always trips the balance in something big like this.
I'm so sorry about your folks - it's true not every couple is dysfunctional, (but none are perfect) Learn from them what not to do, and apply that to your future. And good luck with the loofa.

Author's Response: Thanks Jazz... I used to joke that my family put the "fun" in dysfunctional, but maybe that's how problems start, ya know? Throwing something funny or pretty over something bad doesn't make the bad go away... Sigh. Life.

That being said, wishes for the loofa made me giggle. Thanks for the review :)
