Terrible place to stop. Most of these Jim/Pam stor[es are so bad I can' wait for them to end. Then you nail it-really get Jim and Pam down and quit!?!

I LOVED this story! This was my favorite angsty part of the show and I've been disappointed to discover a lot of people don't write about this time. You should write a second chapter, a wrap up, for this story or write more on this subject! I think you perfectly captured the essence and emotion of the problem and I'd love to read more!

I haven't read fic in a long time, let alone logged in here. Today I decided to take a break from real life, and happened upon here in honor of the filming of the finale, and I read this, and I had to log in just to tell you how wonderful this is. You hit so many points in such a little span. Everything you have here is completely plausible and so heart breaking, especially the final sentence.
I really do wish they would have talked about these things before it came to this. I'm feeling anxious, and this story really rings so true to that night and I can see it happening like that.
I hope you continue to be inspired.

Author's Response: I agree about the anxiety! I thought to myself, "there's just no good way to resolve this in real life." I'm sure (hoping) that things will work out on the show, but I just kept imagining this couple making this huge decision and neither wants what the other one wants.

I'm in the minority here and tend to see Pam's side a bit more. Very well done and I'm happy to have something inspire you again.

Author's Response: I can see being frustrated with Jim, but the whole not wanting to move caught me off guard. Thanks for reading! Hopefully I stay inspired.

This is wonderful! I'll admit I'm a little aggravated at Pam on the show, but this is a heart tugging piece that made me at least feel more sympathy for her. Well done! Love your work - it's great to have something new from you.

Author's Response: Yeah, Pam's being crazy. I'm trying to see things from her side. Thanks for reading!

Hey, bashert, welcome back! So glad you're feeling inspired. I'm digging this angst, too--I love the underlying passion. It makes me sad, yet excited, because it's interesting. This was a very realistic, painful fight. I hope you're inspired to write more. As I recall, you write happy pretty well, too ;)

Author's Response: I'm liking this storyline because at least it shakes things up. Maybe I'll have to write something happy to balance things out.

Ouch. Well done.

I feel for Pam, but I'm also pretty annoyed with her. They've been working at this crappy company that's been on the verge of closure for what, a decade now, and she's...content? This whole story is so frustrating. But you have to give it to the show - the angst has certainly made us all sit up and take notice again, hasn't it?

Thanks for this, it's wonderful to see one of my favorites post something new. :)

Author's Response: Pam on the show is driving me CRAZY. I thought I'd try to see things from her point of view. It's rough, man. I understand being frustrated being at home with two young kids while your husband gets to relive the bachelor lifestyle, but that's no reason to want to stay in Scranton forever!

OK. I'm glad you're writing and this is great but...I am hoping there is a second part where something good, and maybe a little unrealistic, happens. Because I hate the fighting. But I like your writing :) Thanks for this!

Author's Response: Thanks! Hopefully the happy ending comes with the new episode. This Pam and Jim angst is bringing me down!
