This is just lovely. I never did understand why Jim let Pam go in that moment - he had a car! he could have driven her home! gah!
I know why they couldn't do that on the show -- because THIS would have happened! :)
I'm re-watching the show from the beginning and so happy to see that Pam and Jim fanfic is still a thing. I didn't have anyone to flail with (or even know what that meant) when the show first screened.

This is very sweet, With Jim & Pam, it's all about what's not said but is understood between them, so I like that Pam's question isn't completely forthright yet it's still enough that Jim knows what she means. Thanks for sharing this!
