I keep forgetting to review, which is a sign of how good this fic is. I love Larissa's blunt honesty, so unlike her dork of a brother. And I like to imagine Pam feeling it a little bit like a slap, but so necessary at this point.

I'm really glad you're reading it; it has given me occasion to look back at it, and besides the typos I'm finding (oops) it's really nice to see these things again with fresher eyes. Thanks for the comment on Larissa too; I was kinda worried about her as a character so that's nice to hear.

Aww, I love Pan wanting to take care of both Jim and Larissa. I also love the small details that make the characters seem even more real - like Pam getting them lost on the way to the relaxation room.
Author's Response: Thanks! Pam does have that aspect to her personality, doesn't she? Taking care of others is among her favorite things.

While out on a drive today we were listening to Lithium radio and we heard the story behind A Long December and I thought of this story immediately.

I really love these last two chapters. No doubt in my mind that Pam and Larissa would have a great bond in most any circumstance.
I’m selfishly quite fine with jim taking time to recover for more Pam and Larissa time. Also, his reaction to their closeness will be worth the wait :)
Author's Response: Yeah, I think Jim's going to have an interesting time dealing with Larissa and Pam together (not together together, but you know). And yeah, I can see why that story would remind you of this! Also, that's a legitimately crazy story.
