Lovely story. Without getting into the details, the scene still plays out well. Great imagry with everything as one envisions Jim and Pam like this. I loved the idea that they're melting together. That after so long apart now that they are together they find this bond they've shared is so stong between them that they both want to just meld into one. Just beautiful.

I love this so very much. It’s absolutely beautiful.
“kisses didn't taste like they were stolen anymore” This line is perfect. I can imagine Jim feeling exactly this way, after Pam being unattainable for so long, it would have felt just like this at first.
“under the fluorescent lamps of the office, with their coldness that was so dissonant to his feelings” YES. This comparison the whole show. Seriously. The stale office environment that pales in contrast to the colorful personalities that fill it. I love Jim picturing that their first time could happen in the office.
I want to quote basically every line of this and tell you why I love it. It’s so, so great. I adore the way you describe how it changes Pam too. And the freckles. Oh the freckles and the comparison to Roy. It’s so very lovely.
The way they explore each other? It’s so intimate. Plus the stories they share just adds a whole other way of revealing themselves to one another.
And then you bring it all together with a perfect comparison to amber inclusions and the moment is preserved in time and memory. Feel free to write them sleeping together whenever inspiration strikes!
