Wow! Such a great, powerful chapter. I think it's very on character that Pam leaves to handle this on her own... and that Jim is having none of it. Wonderful!

I really liked this chapter! Kinda shows how on the same page they are by the end - as scary as this is, these are two people who are very much looking forward to a future together that incudes kids. And such a great contrast between Caring Jim and Complete Jerk Roy.

The last line is fab.

This was a very moving chapter with the situation being what it was. I know they are in love and have thoughts for a future but I’m sure they had a different timeline in mind for a family.

I will say I was a little surprised she felt she couldn’t go to him right away. She did seem to know well who he is and what to expect from him but the history with Roy sheds a little light on her reaction. That and the emotions swirling around. So many when you are trying, I’m thinking a whole lot more when you are not.

You did a wonderful job getting all those emotions across. And of course they are both a bit sad.

But I’m most pumped for what comes next.
Bring it on.

Author's Response: Thank you so much Maxine!! I’m glad the emotions came across how I wanted them to.

I love how Jim wants to spend his summers traveling with Pam. SO adorable and romantic. And I thought it was very telling of both of them that they were a little sad. You can really tell they both have the future on their minds.

I'm always excited for the next chapter, but after reading that last sentence, I'm *really* excited. ;)

Author's Response: Who wouldn’t want to spend their summer traveling with Pam? ;) Thank you, as always!!

Ok, I meant to leave a review but I don’t think I did. I wasn’t sure about reading a fic where the office characters don’t work in the office, but this is actually really good! Jim and Pam fit so well into their roles. And so do the other characters! Stanley as a careless history teacher? Angela as a librarian? I mean, come on.

This chapter was probably my favorite because of how much it revealed about Pam’s past with Roy. You can clearly see how Roy treated Pam, even if there’s no explicit conversation between them.

Basically, I love this fic. Keep up the good work!

BlindManCassidy.

Author's Response: This review made me SO happy! I love hearing that people love it even when they think they might not initially. Means I’m doing something right! Haha thank you so much for reading!! I’m glad you’re enjoying it. :)

Kinda figured it was going to be this kind of thing. Good for you Jim to be calm and understanding with Pam during a question about pregnancy. As if there aren't enough emotions a woman has to deal with during a time like that, being scared her partner would take it bad is one no woman needs. Especially with Pam's history here. As if we need another reason to dislike Roy. Some might make an excuse for him like they were just stupid teenagers, but no, that's wrong. Pam here was clearly smart enough to see the huge red flag that was and broke up with him over it. Good for her.

I get why they'd both be scared. While a good foundation is there, I also get why they'd want to hold off on kids or anything like that just now. Enjoy being young and in love. However it also looks like Jim has a conversation in mind. Good for you Jim. Do things right.

Good job on the emotions with this one.

This was SO GOOD. I don't even know where to begin. Pam's feelings are so, totally validated. I know she would be scared to tell Jim because of how Roy acted in the past, even though she knows they're nothing alike. And Jim picturing their future together with a little baby was perfect. And then the ending, how they were both a little sad to not actually be pregnant? I teared up a little. You can tell how much they truly love each other and how they are so ready to start a future together, even if this wasn't the right timing for this specific step of their future. And then that last line? I hope you have the funeral home on speed dial because my heart is about to explode. SO GOOD, WW.

Author's Response: Thank you!! 😭 I actually wasn’t planning on that last line at all but it popped in my head and I couldn’t pass it up. Haha
