I loved this! Such a unique concept and a fun way to build on that little moment and turn it into something so interesting. And very well written! I loved it. I would read more!

Author's Response: Thank you so much, BT! To be honest, I'm simply in love with the 'witchy Pam' concept, so I guess I won't stop on one story (on two stories, to be precise) and there will be more. Hope, you'd like them as well ;)

Oooh, I should have known to expect a Halloween story from you! I love the supernatural element to your writing - you always do it such justice. The way you blend everyday life with something haunting with just the right balance of both. This was both lovely and kind of creepy all at once!

Author's Response:

Thank you so much, Jenna! I like this story, and I'm excited that you like it as well!

And I think (if you don't mind) I could use the words 'lovely and kind of creepy' as my signature ;)

I legitimately gasped when there was really a ghost! I was not expecting that at all! What a fresh twist on a Halloween story and, as always, well written. :)

Author's Response: Thank you so much, Bored! I love hearing from you, and I'm glad I could surprise you :)

This was fun. I'll admit I was a little surprised when there was an actual ghost in the closet. However Pam's spell to banish it seemed great. Likewise her insistence that she'll teach Cece these powers as well.

Some more heartwarming aspects too. Like the fact she didn't use magic to attract Jim to her. A forced love is not a real love. Thus Jim does truly love her and that's a great moment.

Just a great Halloween fic. Bravo!

Author's Response: Thank you very much, Warrior! To be honest, I love supernatural things, and I thought a lot about if Pam (or Jim) could use some magic powers (if they had some) to resolve their complex situation and get together... and every time I thought that no, they wouldn't do such a thing to each other. I'm glad I could show that here.

This was such a fun Halloween read! I love how normal and mundane it all seemed to Pam to banish this ghost from her house and how Cece loved watching her do it. So great! Thanks for the fun read. :)

Author's Response: Thank you very much, WW! I enjoyed writing it, and I'm glad that you enjoyed reading it as well :)

What a fun story to read on Halloween. I enjoyed how it morphed from what seemed like a real life tale and one was foreshadowed in the story (ps just saw that episode and it got me thinking, too) to one of fantasy and supernatural.

You married them so well and I love how you ended by saying no magic spell could make their love any better.

I sometimes think about the things I might be able to go back and change in my life only to think again that anything different would not be right and that line really spoke to me.

Thanks for sharing and Happy Halloween.

Author's Response: Thank you very much for your lovely review! To be honest, I like to mix very different things, and adding a tad of supernatural to the family routine felt right.
And I sometimes muse over things that I might have done or should have done as well, and every time I end with the same resolution as you :)

I certainly did not expect this, but wow it was great! I could so easily picture everything Pam was seeing and feeling and I know that she would have done exactly this in order to protect her kids. Great job, Dernhelm!!

Author's Response: Thank you so much, Aly! I'm glad you liked it :)

Oooooh, fun! A Halloween story!

I just read Halfway Home, so I am primed and ready for Witch!Pam. This is a *very* creative backstory for Pam's otherwise totally random foray into believing in the supernatural in Season 8, and one I'd actually love to read more of.

And I really love the combination of the otherworldly and the mundane here - Pam banishes a ghost as sort of a normal task of parenthood, in a rush to get back to messing around with her husband after being interrupted by her child. I just think it's a fun contrast - it's a ghost story that also features the all-too-common parental experience of stepping on a Lego, and Pam being frustrated that dealing with the ghost will mean messing up the basement is genius.

Anyhow. I liked it. Happy Halloween to you!

Author's Response:

Oh, thank you so much for your amazing review! I'm a proud member of the Witchy Pam fan club, so I just had to do this. I don't have other ideas for this theme yet, but I'd like to write more about it someday.

Thank you again for reading!
