Well now I have that song stuck in my head but I’m not mad about it. Your writing is so eloquent. “Her eyes hold entire galaxies”

I really enjoyed this!

Author's Response: You are so welcome, it's been stuck in my head for a few days now and I have to share the love you know. Thats such a big compliment, thank you!

This was very sweet, Pining Jim is adorable and heartbreaking in every iteration. I loved the echoes you used of "not knowing what [they were] missing" and the way that circled back at the end.

Nice work!

Author's Response: Thank you tinydundie!

I’ve smiled my way through this each time I’ve read it. I just love it so much. It’s so, so perfect.
I love picturing Jim as a giant kielbasa, it’s just too funny.
Your writing is just amazing here, absolutely my favourite fic you’ve written. Now please hurry up and write more things.

Author's Response:

Thank you, thank you, thank you!!

I better get writing my next idea..

Awww look at high school Jim and Pam being all cute and dorky. I can totally buy Jim being the high school dork that didn't really grow into himself until college. Four gangly years of awkwardness that grown up Jim just wants to ignore.

Him pining after Pam like that felt so much like canon. How she's with Roy who is the school dirtbag. How he'd love for even one chance to show her what she's missing with him and what she should be missing with Roy. How he's not even sure if she notices him.

Then prom night and yeah she sees him alright. She's also got some fire to her and what sounds like a call back to the Dundies but this time a breakup with Roy. Loved it. The she comes over and says she has tickets to his favorite band, how she's noticed his shirt, and how she makes the first move. Love it, love it, love it. The of course he doesn't know what he was missing. Wonderful way to turn it around. Great job.

Author's Response: Thank you so much Warrior! Glad you enjoyed it, I loved writing this one. An excuse to listen to the song on repeat, not that I ever need an excuse it's such a good song.

Okay. This is a solid throwback. As a longtime fan of this song, I appreciate it. And it's a very cute vision of Jim and Pam as high schoolers, which I think is a deeply underexplored area. Nice job!

Author's Response: I love reading a young Jim and Pam meeting. Thank you for the review
