If all your hilarious comebacks turn into something like this, I will always make you be snarky. This was just *insert gif of Jim reacting to get The Adventures of Jimmy Halpert*

Author's Response: Hmm.. The Adventures of Jimmy Halpert rings a bell...

Ah, this is sweet. It does feel like Dunder Mifflin would be a horrible experience on a daily basis for Jim without Pam, and I think we've all experienced those days where nothing BIG goes wrong but so many little things go wrong you're basically fried at the end. And the way she immediately soothes his tattered nerves is too cute!

I also love the metaphor of "As if the reams of paper themselves set free from their packaging and thrown into gale force winds, and I’m the unlucky one who has to chase every individual page." He can't escape paper even in his imagination, poor guy! And the dual and shifting symbolism of the clown painting is a nice touch and feels realistic and in character.

Author's Response: Thank you!! Glad you enjoyed it!

I liked this one. How the events of the day just keep piling up on each other. Almost like death by a thousand paper cuts. Individually each thing would be annoying but tolerable. However coming all in the same day, one after another, it would be enough to drive anyone insane. Not only that but coupled with the pressure he feels to make sure he's providing for his family. Just another layer of stress on top of an already horrible day. I can relate really easily to the Jim you've written here.

But then there at the end, after all the chaos that was his day, there's Pam. A warm loving woman who makes it all worthwhile. I have this image that he came home, dropped everything in the entryway, saw her sketching on the couch and just plopped down next to her. She didn't need to say anything, she just kissed his head and wrapped her arms around him. It's simple, it's easy, it's loving, and it makes all the difference.

Great job.

Author's Response:

We've all had those days where things keep going wrong. And I like to think we all have someone out there for us who makes everything better. I'm glad these two have each other!!

Thank you for the kind words, as always!
