The Parking Lot of DOOM!!
I love the style of this. There's so much emotion in it, even though you're using so little words.
Thanks so much.
cheers.

What a lovely, unique insight into Jim and Pam's relationship. I really enjoyed the poetic quality of this, even if it did break my heart a little! Wonderful job.

Author's Response: Thank you...sorry about breaking your heart!  (Hopefully the ending mended it a little.)

This is absolutely wonderful. How is it possible you say so much with parking space choices? Lovely.

Author's Response: Thank you....just as it's all in the pauses, it's all in the parking space choices.  :)

A different and interesting take on the evolution of their relationship.  Great!

This is exquisite. So well constructed, so simple but eloquent. Each of these moments says just enough. Too many wonderful parts to list, but this one really captured Jim: Inevitably, he ends up running out, moving to a spot he actually belongs in. It's nice, though, while it lasts. Or Pam - loving when the snow covers the parking lot lines, how it makes her feel free to go anywhere. Just laser sharp.

Author's Response: Thank you so much....it seriously means a lot when people who are such amazing writers (like yourself) enjoy my writing and leave reviews that make me feel all warm inside.  Thank you.

I don't even have words for how good this was.  Just an amazing, amazing piece.  I'll never look at it as The Parking Lot of Doom the same way again!

Author's Response: Thank you so much.  And no, it's not The Parking Lot of Doom, it's The Parking Lot of Hope and Reconciliation.  :)

That was elegant and wonderful. I have never seen symbolism used for such an effect. Truly great, it left me speechless. You are extremely talented and I really hope you come out with more.

Author's Response: Thank you!  Hopefully I can continue writing things that people enjoy.

Amazing, simply amazing.  Pure poetry, and you've taken the parking lot of doom and turned it into the most incredible metaphor for their relationship, for all that's left unsaid.  This is one of those fics that's just so good it frustrates me, because there's no possible way to express how perfect it is.  Excellent, excellent work here.

Author's Response: See, and this is one of those reviews that just makes me want to cry, and I don't know what to say besides thank you.  Oh, wait, I do know what to say - I'm so happy I was able to turn around the Parking Lot of Doom for a few people - there's been so much angst and negativity this season that I felt the need to turn something that has become such a symbol of sadness into something beautiful and hopeful instead.  Thank you again.

Wow! This was amazing. Such a unique format, as well. You managed to fit so much into each of these moments - they're almost heavy with meaning and emotion.

Author's Response: Thank you so much, I was hoping the different format would work out and not be a distraction.

Wow.  Just wow.  First, I have to just say I love your music taste, The Trapeze Swinger is one of my favorite songs ever.  I got the chills when he sang "The parking lot had an element of danger."

Now.  Something about this story just made me want to run to a parking lot and find a Jim.  I love the thoughts, their routines, and then their actions.  It was perfectly blended.  I loved it.

Author's Response:

I. Love. The. Trapeze. Swinger.

And thank you!  I'm glad you liked the way I laid it out...and yes, every time I see a parking lot, I can't help but look for a Jim. :)

I stare at you, listening as you break all of the rules we’ve silently laid out over the years.  Everything is falling so fast I can feel the cement crack beneath me.  My thoughts prove to be too much, and I say the worst possible thing.  A tear slips down your face in slow motion, and I put it there...

...and this is where I started crying.  I can't get over how unbelievably beautiful this is.  I loved each italicized portion and each parking lot reference.  I love how it all flows together.  And I absolutely love your ending.  Amazing!

Author's Response: Wow, thank you.  It means so much that you really felt it.  (Not that I want to make people cry!)  I'm just really appreciative of such a great review.  :)
