God, why, when it's written like this, do I love Jerk Jim?! Cause I do and it's so wrong. I blame it on the fantastic, compelling writing.

I think the writers really missed an oppertunity in season 3 to show that A: Jim can date two people at once and B: it would be awesome.

Oh wow.  I really disliked Jim for not making a decision here, whatever it might be.  Pretty cowardly although not unlike his general desire to avoid confrontation.  A well written story!

Author's Response: Thank you. :)

Oh, interesting! I like the mix of dread, denial, and justification happening in Jim's head.

Author's Response: Heee! Thanks. :D

I...wow. I kinda hate this in the same way I hate Karen- because I don't hate it and I totally see how it could work out this way, and that makes me nervous. You've tapped into something so fundamentally, unpleasantly Jim here. Yay for Pam making an effort, though! (And beautiful work with this. Your straightforward style really underscores how messed up the situation really is).

Author's Response: Wow, thanks. :D Though, sorry for making you nervous. ;)

Oh, nice. I've been thinking about something like this, where Pam makes her move and Jim just stays still, without making a big choice, and you did it really well here. I like the compartmentalizing he does.

Author's Response: :D Thank you!

Wow...TwoTiming!Jim...definitely different but I really like this.  I like that it's very visual and descriptive.  Hey, I really couldn't blame Jim, having both Karen and Pam!  I really like Pam taking the initiative here for once.

Author's Response: Wow, thanks. :D Yeah, I.. wouldn't be able to blame him either. And, you know, if he tried to get them TOGETHER. >>;; Well, I couldn't blame him for that either.

Oh jeeze... I really like this so far, but I hope this blows up in Jim's face because it's so wrong. He's such a nice guy that I'm not sure I can quite believe he'd cheat on Karen like this. Well, I take it back. I can definitely believe that at least after the first kiss he would have stayed with Karen, but now... I don't know. Gah! Conflicted feelings!

(p.s. I still really like it)

Author's Response:

Yeah, that was a problem I had with it, too. Jim's too much of a nice guy, but there has to be something underneath all that 'niceness'. I'm just not sure it's that.

But, guaranteed this would blow up in his face. Not only would not like doing it, but I'm almost positive Pam wouldn't put up with it.

Thanks for still liking it, though. ;)

Jim's natural avoidance of confrontation makes this seem uncomfortably believable.  I wonder how long he'd be able to pull it off?

Author's Response:

!!!! A review from one of my favorite MTT authors. ...Sorry. I got excited.

Thank you! I'm almost positive it would blow up in his face almost immediately. Besides, I'm not sure Pam would enjoy being the 'other woman' for very long.

Two separate things and maybe he just planned to keep them that way.

Oh yeah. This line makes the whole story. Very interesting. I hope this has more to come!

Author's Response:

Thanks. I wasn't sure if it was a good way to wrap it up or if it was going to come across as a cop-out. :3 So, your review makes me happy. ;)

I don't know about more, but.. we'll see. My muse tends to visit me in spurts and I'm starting to wonder if this visit was just a Christmas present. :(
