I can totally imagine that this is exactly what is going on inside Pam's head.  Loved that Jim spit on her when he laughed.  :)

This was just beautifully written. It gave me yet another insight about Pam...I like the idea of her watching and biding her time, but in a totally non-stalkerish way. I'm going to go add you to my favourites now, so I don't miss another of your fics!

Lovely. And good job with Pam's voice.

Good inner monologue.  I hope Pam is really thinking those things.

I love this. it's a different writing style, and yet, still staying so true to our dear pam. and yes, have to agree with everyone else: even though you kind of spit on me, it was everything. best line i've read in a long time!

Nothing to say that hasn't already been mentioned.  This fic is so true to our Pam, and exactly what is probably running through her head.  Can't wait for her to actually verbalize everything to our boy!

Yes, thank you. Pam is not an idiot. And how cool would it have been if she HAD just taken his hand? *sigh*
Things are making sense again (except, are Angela and Pam friends now?), and I just can't wait until they finally come together.
Thanks so much for this.
cheers.

Oh, PAM.

I would totally believe that your real name was Ms. 69 Coletta! This was amazing! [/Kelly]

I love the part where Pam talks about Karen and how she likes her but, come on, if she loved Jim she would be standing guard. This whole thing was perfect. Very brave to use first person, but it was flawlessly done and a nice change. Can't find a single thing wrong with the story or characterization.

"even though you kind of spit on me, it was everything"

pppffffffff [/Jim laugh]

I dig this.  To me there's a bit of reality, here.  Perhaps it's that which connects everyone who is in love and hasn't had the guts to say something.  But, yeah, I dig this very much.  Respect.

Author's Response:

Thank you.  I am a "Pam" so I'm able to draw from a lot of my own things in the past.  Thanks for the review.

"even though you kind of spit on me" -- I am still laughing at this.  I hope it was intentionally funny?

Author's Response: Haha, yes, I was trying to be funny...I love the way Jim laughs in that scene!

Wow. I absolutely loved this.  This sounded so much like Pam and what she must be thinking and feeling. And the last line - "I hope it'll never be too late." - sounds full of promise to me.

Author's Response: Thanks for reviewing, kaystar!  I really really hope Pam doesn't wait until it's too late.  I had fun writing Pam's inner voice because you just know that so much goes on inside of her.

Oh Noodles!  How awesome are you?  This is everything - I mean EVERYTHING - I wish, hope, dream, believe Pam is thinking right now.  It simply must be - because any other possibility is unacceptable.

Thanks so much for this.  Truly.

Author's Response: Aw, thank you, xoxoxo!  This HAS to be what she's thinking!  She may never come out and say it in the exact way she's thinking it, but I have faith in our girl that she'll find her own sweet way of coming clean.  Thanks for the review!

You? Need to stop rocking quite so much. No, seriously. You are SICK amounts of awesome. Just...stop.

Author's Response: Thank you?  I'll try?  Seriously, this review does wonders for my confidence in this story.  I wrote it and went straight to bed without pimping it because I was embarrassed.

If only Pam could have a voice like this on the show. This really sounds like her stream of consciousness. This is precisely it, how even the most outrageous things are bearable when they have each other as filters or anchors:

And yeah, he's crazy, and Michael's crazy and Creed's crazy and they're all crazy in some way, but when it's just us, it makes sense again.

And I think Jim's not picking Pam first for the prank was because he felt obliged to ask Karen (his gf) and then was consciously trying to avoid going there with Pam...pranking was their way of connecting and he's so wary of that - of what it will bring out in himself. She's like his kryptonite. But I digress...too many lines/thoughts here to list, but every other sentence I was thinking Yes! Very satisfying. Now somebody get the real Pam (how meta is that?) talking!

Author's Response:

Yes, ITA about what you said with Jim picking Karen first.  See, Pam wouldn't know it's because of her, but she knows Karen's his gf so she'd be understanding of that (even though it breaks her heart).  And I desperately wish Pam would say something already, although I'm on the team who doesn't really blame her for wanting to do so while she knows Jim has a gf now.

Thank you for such an amazing review.

But you laughed and even though you kind of spit on me, it was everything. You laughed kind of like you haven't laughed in a really long time. Have you? I want to make you laugh always. Especially when it's just the two of us like that, because at that moment, for me anyway, we were the only ones in the room. You, me, and a hole in the wall with silly hats on our heads that sort of hid us from the rest of the world.

Oh, MAN.  I was beyond excited to see a new one from you, and you did not disappoint.  Perfect Pam perspective, really, everything is just so...her.  And the last lines are amazing.  It's not too late!  *Sigh*

Wonderful again. :)

Author's Response: Thanks Bennie!  Yay, you picked my favorite part!  Jim's laugh in that part with the sombreros just kills me.  It's like he's been waiting for months just to be able to laugh at something Pam's said but he's been holding it in.  Thank you again!

Aw, jeez, 69C -- you own me.  And since Pam is the #1 Hussy, it makes total sense that she would watch Jim with the same eagle eyes that the rest of us do.

And this is spot-on Pam: I'm totally one for thinking of things to say hours or even days after my opportunity has passed.

Looks like the cork is back in the Beesly bottle, and here's hoping February sees it pop again, this time for Jim & not Dwight.

Author's Response: Oh, I hope so too.  I enjoy overanalyzing things, and I was hoping that during the scene in the producers cut where Angela and Pam are talking, when Angela says along the lines of "I'm not like you, saying whatever thought pops into your brain," I was really hoping that would strike a chord with Pam and that she'd honestly think about that.
