“Do we go to my parent's house or your parent's house?” he asks.

“Why don’t we just celebrate Mother’s Day here?”

“Pam, you can’t celebrate Mother’s Day without a mother. And there are no mothers here to celebrate.” He laughs, grasping her hand.

She places his hand lightly on her stomach. “That’s not entirely true.”
