“Is that going in Jim’s folder?” Creed pointed at a note with a yogurt-lid medal attached.

“No. I lost my nerve.” Pam wiped an eye and walked off.

Creed turned it over, grabbed a Sharpie and wrote: Bring me back some NY weed, dude. He slipped it into the folder.

“It is now," he said.

"Credence Clearwater." Michael grinned. "You're here early."

"I came in to make sure you got off to your interview in time."

"That's not till tomorrow."

Creed nodded and Michael left in a hurry.

"As sure as this is 1995."

Jim brought in Chinese food for lunch and tossed Creed a fortune cookie in the break room.

Creed opened it right away. "Never stay with a woman who makes you give her a piggy back ride," he said

Jim shrugged.

"Hey man, seen my stapler?" Creed poked Ryan who sat holding his head in his hands."What's wrong?"

"I'm not going to get the job. Nobody respects an MBA from Scranton."

"I thought you went to Harvard?"

"No," Ryan said despondently. "Just Scranton."

"Put Harvard on the resume anyway. Sounds tons cooler."

"It does, doesn't it?"

Creed noticed Karen sitting alone in the conference room, looking sad.

"Man trouble?" he asked, delicately.

Karen nodded. "I can feel him slipping away," she whispered.

"Be firm. Make him choose. Force his hand. That always works."

She thanked him and he wandered off. "Unless it's Jim," he said to himself. "He hates that shit."
