What if I hadn't been so afraid to mention that lunch to Roy?

What if I hadn't told Jim about my engagement at all that day? What if instead I had told him about the fight Roy and I had the week before? Would we have figured out then how much better the two of us could be together?

What if I never get another chance to tell him how glad I am that he asked me to eat lunch with him?

What if Jim never looks at me that way again? What if I never even see him again?
