And still she hesitated. She couldn't come crawling to him like this. Couldn't be that desperate. Not with Julie around. She knew there was nothing serious between them, but Pam couldn't help feeling annoyed at Julie. After all, Jim was... Julie wasn't his type. She didn't want Jim getting hurt.

"What're you doin'?" Roy asked, now only steps behind her.

Her finger was still on the call button. It would be so easy.

"Come on, babe. It's cold. I'm sorry, okay? Let's go home, talk about this tomorrow."
She couldn't respond. She felt frozen. Like being trapped in a nightmare.
