"Pammy! Sign this boy up! He is da man!" Michael kept talking, but Pam was more interested in the bewildered look on Jim's face. She loved seeing a normal person's initial reaction to Michael being Michael.

"So, I'm assuming you tanked," she joked, after Michael left.

"Yeah. It was awful." He responded instantly, a small smile playing at the ends of his lips.

"That's a shame. I think you might've liked it here." She handed Jim some forms to fill out, and tried not to jump when his fingertips brushed her own. She didn't know what was wrong with her.
