Stanley watched the clock so he could go home and watch Jeopardy.
Michael watched the clock with dread because he didn’t know how much more of Jan in stretch pants he could take.
Jim watched the clock because now he had someone to go home to that didn’t nag at him and make him stay up until all hours of the night talking. That wasn’t to say they weren’t up until all hours of the night.
Pam watched the clock because she was that someone.
Dwight watched because of Angela and his beets.
They all unknowingly had the same habit.
