I was around this site many years ago, during seasons 4 and 5, and then went on an unexpected hiatus for several years. I'm back and better than ever! Finished up one WIP ("Sociology 101") and might finish another if inspiration strikes. For now, working on new material and enjoying being back!
Role Reversal Challenge: It's May 2006. Jim's wedding is approaching and a lovelorn Pam can't take much more. Starts during Casino Night (or an AU version of it).
1 So I just caught up on this whole story and I can’t wait to see it finished! Trust me, Iknow all about leaving a WIP halfway through writing it so no pressure here.
I love love love the Jim and Pam you’ve created. You’ve taken the best of them from the show and added new traits and experiences that still feel very *them*. I think everything is perfectly in character. And can I say that I LOVE Karen and Pam being friends? Poor Karen gets a bad rap some of the time so I’m glad to see something different here.
Love this story! Can’t wait to see what happens next.

So I know I've been all over your old stuff, but I just have to let you know how in love with your writing I am. This story is perfect. I love this phase in Jim and Pam's relationship--where the finally get over everything and are together. I have to say, I like your way more than the way they do it in the TV show--this way didn't leave me just sitting there agonizing over Karen and ugh. Anyway, seriously? You're awesome.

I have been waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting for this update-I literally went "YES!" when I saw it.
Awesome job as usual, you really had me on the edge of my seat with the last chapter and it's nice to see everything come together. I'm really looking forward to see how this story finishes!
*sigh* I love a happy ending. You ended this perfectly and didn't leave any stones unturned as to what happened with Ryan and Alex and our favorite couple. I read something you wrote on the forum today, about how your goal was to get out the last chapter of a story that had been kind of a burden or something--I totally 100% know how you feel, because I'm in that same position...but I commend you for sticking with this. I know it's hard, but you did such a great job!

I wouldn\'t call getting this done a \"burden\" so much as it was difficult for me to figure out how I was going to deal with all the loose ends I\'d created, and it started feeling a little like work. Totally my lack of foresight, but I guess this is a learning process, eh? Beering you strength and perseverance on your story as well. We\'d like to read the conclusion.\r\n

Oh, man, that was awesome. And sad. But mostly awesome. I'm really enjoying this story--I can't wait to see what happens with Jim and Pam next!

Oh, I'm so sad this is over. As heartbreaking as it was, it was amazing, and I loved reading this story. I loved this final chapter, too, the way that the story ended--with them on the same wavelength and wanting nothing more than to be together. *sigh*. I just love it.

It's so unlike a lot of other stuff on here, because it's real and plausible and it seems so them, you know? Awesome. I feel the same way about season 2 and 3. Even though I know what's happening with them now, I just love to torture myself and revisit this old Jim and Pam. Great job writing this, I absolutely loved this.
