Jim shakes the empty can. He looks up at Karen. “So, it’s just been kind-of weird between Pam and me since I got back. I just wanna get back what we use to have. However, we’ve backtracked too much.”

“You should do something with her this weekend.” She smiles slightly. “Shopping. Bowling. Andy told me once that she liked Frisbee.”

Jim grins. “She hates playing Frisbee. She says it reminds her of dogs and their owners.”

“Well, then…”

“So, you’re okay with Pam and me hanging out this weekend?” He looks at her curiously.

Karen takes a deep breath. “Yes.”
