Mistake by artificialchild Rated: K [Reviews - 0]
Summary: Carol knows-- deep down-- that this won't end well.
Recommended by: darjeelingandcoke
Recommender's comments: You ever wondered what, exactly, Carol Stills could possibly be thinking in dating Michael? And continuing to date him even after everything? Well, now you know. Really cool character study that does a lot to fill out this minor character.

Recommender's comments: HalloweenJack has a number of fics on MTT, but this one didn't make it over. A quick read with a bunch of hilarious tidbits in it.

Fragmented by snowstorm1717 Rated: M [Reviews - 0]
Summary: "Her father was trying to make her into the person God wanted her to be. It was her own fault that she was never good enough for either of them."

An exploration of Angela Martin from childhood through to mid season 5.
Recommended by: darjeelingandcoke
Recommender's comments: Very well-written if extremely dark look into Angela's backstory. Major triggers abound, but it's a high quality Angela taken seriously fic still in progress.

Good Old Days by jenncho Rated: K [Reviews - 0]
Summary: This is something they did now. Call or text with random memories of their time together at Dunder Mifflin.
Recommended by: darjeelingandcoke
Recommender's comments: Jenncho is one of the great fanfic champions of Andy/Oscar and has written 10 stories on AO3 about this pairing. This one, which could easily be canon-compliant, is my favorite. Set post-series, it's both a sweet getting-together story *and* a fun nostalgia trip. A good example of her work, and worth reading even if you're not into the ship.

much ado about nothing by sleazyjanet Rated: K [Reviews - 0]
Summary: After hooking up that one night a month before Angela’s wedding, Angela and Dwight bring an unbearable sort of tension into the office. After about two or three weeks, their coworkers decide to put a famous play by Shakespeare into action to hopefully fix their problems and also bring back peace into the office.

It’s a comedy, really. That’s all.

Summary: Miss Pamela Beesly is faced with an unexpected choice. (Casino night done regency romance style because, why not? Just a bit of fun, and yes, there's a happy ending.) ""Ah! Halpert, good man. See to her, won't you? Philbin's waiting for me in the card room." Pamela Beesly glared at her betrothed, her face flushing, fingers clenched into the blue fabric of her gown. Surely he would not leave her on this terrace in the middle of their conversation? Mr. Halpert, her dearest friend and neighbor, murmured his acquiescence, and Captain Roy Anderson disappeared back into the ballroom."
Recommended by: darjeelingandcoke
Recommender's comments: I mean... it's Casino Night. But regency romance style. And with a happy ending. Isn't that kind of all the recommendation you need? Here's rooting for Mary to post this here too!

The Virus by nicthesurfer Rated: K [Reviews - 0]
Summary: In an attempt to brighten Pam's day, Jim unintentionally sends Michael down a rabbit hole of misinformation, causing him to create an unbearable work environment. (Basically, it's a spec script for a Season 2 episode in which coronavirus is just starting to spread.) Note: links to PDF

Sleepover by dollsome Rated: K [Reviews - 0]
Summary: Michael decides to have a sleepover at the office. Shenanigans ensue.
Recommended by: darjeelingandcoke
Recommender's comments: This is script-fic set between Business Trip and the MSPC arc, and it's absolutely brilliant. Could 100% be an unproduced episode - everyone's voices are dead on.

Not particularly JAM-focused, but there are some very sweet JAM moments I would've loved to see onscreen... including some conversations we really didn't see enough of about Jim's goals besides being with Pam and Pam's feelings about being back at DM.

Summary: Ryan does a number on Kelly's emotional well being, again. This time, Kelly finds a new solution.
Recommended by: darjeelingandcoke
Recommender's comments: This is Kelly/Erin. Very well-written, and a great one if you love the rest of the ensemble too *and* were mildly horrified at the romantic drama the writers put these two through in later seasons. Or if you just feel like Ryan never quite got the karmic punishment he deserved and Kelly deserved better. (There is some interesting Kelly perspective on JAM in there too though.)

Summary: It was his first time seeing where she lived now and if he had thought longer about it, he might have felt guilty by the slight thrill it gave him. Instead, his mind was only on the present moment/prank/joke and no-one else’s feelings, so he only felt a rush of pride as his long legs bounded up the stairs.

Recommended by: darjeelingandcoke
Recommender's comments: Reactions from the folks in the room when Jim asked out Pam for the first time. A fun look at behind the scenes of the documentary... and also slots remarkably well into canon for reasons you'll have to read to find out.
