Love the prom and post-prom scenes - and I can totally see Dwight with a chainsaw at a school dance.
Thanks!

This was VERY cute, and I love seeing these angsty elements of canon remixed as something fundamentally sweet.
(I also very much appreciate that Pam keeps wiping Jim's mind clean. Paper salesman Jim can definitely relate.)

KEVIN!!! "We're all going to get to know each other in the pot"
So glad he finally got to share his Chili.
Another fun chapter. I like how you worked in 'swaying isn't dancing' and their worktime first date. Great stuff.
Keep it coming lots of fun

This story continues to be wonderful. Love the way their relationship continues to grow. It's sweet, natural, and lovely to read.
Great to see that Jim is the cool teacher. The line about getting a degree, very spot on. Same with teachers cutting students in the lunchroom. I remember my teachers doing that all the time and waving it off with a comment like that.
Kevin as the lunch guy is great.
The dance was lovely. Mainly because the way you describe their outfits. Jim seems very sharp while Pam comes across looking lovely.
The after-dance dance and kiss were the perfect way to cap off this chapter.
I'm going to quickly run out of jellybeans for this story, but it deserves all the jellybeans.
Author's Response: I think Jim being the cool teacher surprises nobody, since he’s just so darn likable. And we know he’s great with kids from Bring Your Daughter to Work Day. I’m so glad you’re enjoying the story!!

Of course Kevin would be in the cafeteria, cooking chilli! I LOVE it!
This was too darn cute! The lunch, the chaperoning, their sway-dancing at the end.
Michael and Dwight WOULD bring a chainsaw to homecoming. I mean, it TOTALLY goes with the event.
Cannot wait for more!
Author's Response: Haha I always wanted Kevin to be the lunch “lady” and then as I started writing it the chili idea came to me and it was just too perfect to pass up. Haha so I’m glad you liked it. Thanks so much for your review!!

Wow! Like, WOW!!
Okay. So their chili lunch together was all kinds of adorable. Pam's little slip up with "What about the teachers?" was so funny and cute and felt totally in her character.
And then everything with the dance was fantastic. I love how Jim convinced Michael not to use the fog machines. I mean, "I actually just read in ‘Cool Teen Magazine’ that fog machines are not ‘totally dope’ anymore. Can you believe it?" is freaking hilarious. And Michael has no idea that Jim is pulling his leg. The Michael/Jim/Dwight dynamic was spot on. You nailed that. The chainsaw bit made me laugh out loud.
And then, of course, the dancing and kissing afterwards was perfect and sweet and romantic. They're SO good together.
You're brilliant, WW. Absolutely brilliant.
Author's Response: 😭😭 Thank you SO much!! I’m really happy you are enjoying the fringe characters because they have been really fun to write.

I had a grin on my face the whole time reading this. It's so sweet and reminds me of my fiance and I in high school. I absolutely loved this!
Author's Response: Aww, thank you!!
