Ooh. That Vexin is smart! Jim needs to watch his step around her. And Poor Pam. I wonder what is going on there. It's a shame that this story is from Jim's POV so we're as in the dark about it as he is.

Can't wait to see what happens next!

I hope they don't find out Jim's secret yet, until Pam does at least.  Loved the teasing going on in this chapter

Dude, WHO is Vexin?  Does she KNOW ALL???  Also, argh!  Why don't WE know what's going on with Pam?  What silly, low self-esteem, misguided notion has she got in her head now?  Also, does SHE know that Jim is Squirrel?  More, please!!!!

It's ridiculous how sad I am that this chapter is over.  Yet another great one with the suspense continuing to build. When he mentioned online that he hadn't made it in to work until noon, I was immediately thinking, Eeeks, they're going to put two and two together!  So hmmm...I'm wondering now if Pam senses that it's him and that's why she's avoiding him?  Arghh, update soon!

Thanks again for yet another excellent chapter.

:(  Oh Jim.  He (and I) can't expect everything to be rosy so quickly.  It's much more complicated.

Woo hoo for Vexin and her hottie.  lol!  Ummm - Jim - stop kidding yourself - she's onto you. ;)

Oh man!  What's wrong with our little Pammy?  (Oh, wait...I can't call her Pammy.  Scratch that.)

I hope she's ok...and he should've gone over.  I know it would be kinda cheesy, but SOMEONE'S gotta take a first step.

This is a lovely story...I can't wait for more!

Question:/Dwight

Does Jim have to tell Pam he's Squirrel McPants? I mean, really, why should he do that? If she never knew, and he asked her out, what would be the harm? Just wondering. Can't wait to see where you take this.

Okay... so Pam is not well... hmmm... Is she avoiding Jim (and McPants) because she's suspicious? Is she avoiding Jim because Karen is psycho and said something to her...? Is she really sick?
Such a tangled web you weave Moxie! And it is so much fun to read about.
This has the perfect amount of angst (not too much) and cute, happy Jim and FNB (when masquerading as WD). And each update is better than I expected.
Love it!
Thanks so much for the unexpectedly quick update. Completely and totally made my night!

Oooh, looks like Jim may have tipped his hand... Pam is, at the very least, suspicious, right?

Squirrel should not have said he had someone cover for him for the first half of the day.  I know Pam wasn't in the chat room at the time, but still, it seems pretty risky to me!

I'm certainly wondering where you're going next!

Oh, wow. Jim's gonna have a hard time concealing who he is if his chat buddies can read him like Vexin can. Wonder what's wrong with Pam...

Thanks for the quick update, Mox.  Such a nice treat before bed!

I seriously squeed when I got the e-mail notification that this was updated.  Makes my day.  I was getting really scared Lokien was going to really figure it out (or at least tell Jim he/she had) and ah!  What is going on with Pam??  How much longer can Jim hold out??

I literally squealed when I saw you had updated!   I like how you have made Jim squirm a little wondering what is going on with Pam.  This story is so original.

He knew the periwinkle crayon was still on his desk, but he was happy to look after it until he could return it to her hand himself.

I don't know what it is about this line, but I am in love with it!  I totally want to give Jim a big ol' hug.  Oh and I am also loving the interaction with Jim and Dwight!

Yay! I love smelling new crayons!  And that high pitched sound you just heard?  That was just my uber-squee at the last line.  "Yes," he finally said.  "This is it.  This is my favorite color."  Sigh
