Yes, angry Jim is nice, being so nice and protecting Pam and Pam's honor. Loved it. And it is almost nice to see Michael not be an ass. He does have some redeeming qualities :)

I love the premise of this story and I think you've really captured the essence of the characters. However, and I don't want to nitpick -- but I noticed a few little things that having a beta reader or a second pair of eyes would have fixed. If it's something that you're interested in, I think you'd go from having a decent story to a great story. I know there's plenty of us here and on TWOP that do it constantly. If not, just ignore my comment ...
I definitely love the idea you had here!!
Also: I think "your" taste in music is Jim's taste in music. I made a little comment to myself, "Of course he'd listen to Neutral Milk Hotel, ha." I wonder if Pam would, though? We've really gotten no (canon) sight into what her tastes are.

i would LOVE a beta reader, since i'm just too damn impatient to proofread my own stories. i'm awful like that.
as for pam, it is hard to pinpoint what kind of music she'd like. i think she's too mature for pop (no offense to pop, it can be fun) but she's definitely not a rap or a punk girl. so i'd think she'd probably listen to the more gentle indie rock, just my opinion. an interesting question though!

Cute story! Just one *teeny* thing -- Jim seems to have a knack for sticking up for Michael or, at the very least, seeing beyond Michael's bumbling ways. I think you would do a very good job of bringing this out, seeing as how you write such tender scenes with Jim and Pam.
