oh wow.  That was intense!  That was so hard to read Pam's heart practically breaking!

ugh, I need a tissue...

Author's Response: Oh man, I didn't mean to make you cry. Sorry!

Wow that was intense. I want more. Please update soon.

Author's Response: Well ok. You've got Ch. 2 now.

Man, I totally agree with your take on Pam's anger:  I'm sure she thinks Jim trivialized their kiss as "just a kiss."  Poor Pammy.  But how you've written Pam being galvanized is realistic, and I hope it happens.

Author's Response: Yeah, the "just a kiss" struck me as annoying when Karen said it so I had to run with that.

Okay, I know *I* was one of the ones who made a comment about all these Jim/Pam stories, but I really liked this.  You did an awesome job expressing Pam's anger in this situation, and man, would I just DIE to see her and Jim have this conversation -- because I would!  I will read these types of stories repeatedly if they're written well, and I think you did a nice job.  Yea.  (Now, note to Daniels & Co:  please, get ON IT.)

Author's Response: I actually used your comments about making things unique to heart when I wrote this so I'm glad you liked it.

This scenario is like a catharsis for me and probably everyone else..I did a Dwight fist pump at the end I was so psyched to see Pam let that emotion out. Not via tears alone in a hallway, but verbally with the one person she needs to do this with...Jim!

Please, writers, we have been SO patient.  We need to see this!  And god, if need be, I'll wait until May, but no longer!

Can you tell this story affected me? Am I talking too loudly?  Will now wait quietly for Chapter 2.

Author's Response: A Dwight fist pump? Wow. Now that is a compliment. And Ch. 2 is up for ya!

Whoa.

So I thought I'd steal the opportunity to read some fic as I (ostensibly) watch the Super Bowl with the husband -- and this just sucked me right in.  Holy mother of god.  I'm still reeling a little at that parting image of Jim standing stock still in the parking lot.

There has been some discussion over at TWoP regarding Pam confessing to Jim, how it has been overdone in fic - and I know I'm guilty of re-creating the same scenarios in different settings because I can't get away from it - but this...this is so real. The spontenaity and the anger and frustration.  I actually cringed when he said, "There is no us."  Gulp.

And of course she's angry that he shared any details with Karen - no matter how abbreviated.  I get the sense that that kiss has been what she's lived on for all these months (him, too - I still think Karen essentially forced his hand in divulging it), so she'd be understandably devastated if he somehow tainted it by talking about it to someone else.

Really, though, this is so damned good - I can't wait for the next installment!

Author's Response: Whoa? That makes me feel cool now. Thanks for the awesome review!

Oh, how satisfying.  It's good to see her indignant; not that she hasn't played a role in the situation but it is welcome to see her fight the situation she is in!  I can't wait to read more.

Author's Response: If only she would fight like that on the show. We can hope.

Oooh, this is a good "fight" scenario. I particularly like the little details about her shoes- how she was so hopeful, somehow, and how it just turned to pain ("those stupid shoes"). I'm not sure if our Pam will ever get to this point, but if she does I sure hope we see it soon! Hurry with the rest, please!

Author's Response: I had to put that detail in about the shoes. I've been there and I've done that. Thanks!

Oh I LOVE this - god, I could feel Pam's pain and anger!  Can't wait to read more...

Author's Response: Glad you liked it!

Wow.  I am so glad you wrote this because the fact that Jim told Karen about the kiss is killing me.  You did such an awesome job showing Pam's frustration with Jim and I'm glad she told him the way she felt.  I wish she had just done that during Ben Franklin.  I really can't wait to read more to see where this ends up!  Great job!

Author's Response: Oh, the just a kiss thing totally pissed me off so I hope I'm righting a wrong. Thanks!

okay reading more

okay, write more... i want more!

Author's Response: After that random hug last week on the show, I would expect nothing less from Karen at this point. Thanks for noticing that!

Yes. Pam needs to do that this week. Seriously.

Author's Response: Fingers crossed!

YES! Heck yes.  This is perfect.  This is exactly what needs to happen.  Right now, listen carefully (read carefully) because this is what you have to do now:

1) Quit your job

2) Become a writer for the show

Please? Because I want this to happen soooo badly. Pam has to finally just confront Jim. Just like this. You rock.

Okay, I'll stop now.

Author's Response:

1) I got laid off recently, which is why I'm back to writing now. It worked out so well. :)

2)  If you know anyone there, just let me know.

Thanks!

Great Job. I would like to see more to this story! Keep it up!
