Oh, wow. I sure wasn't expecting Roy to expect to get back together with Pam after THAT, but then again, he is Mr. Oblivious, so it shouldn't surprise me. Boy, I can't wait to see how he reacts to Pam's news! THAT will blindside him for sure.
I love the image of Jim sitting there, hands on the armrests, tensed and waiting to jump up if Pam needs him. *sigh*

Ugh! Roy, she said it's over!!! Poor Pam, has to dump him AGAIN? (And she'd better say no, wingwoman!)
In reality, Karen and Jim are broken up, and Pam and Roy are broken up (I think she said this is over and he said this is SO over), Jim would probably hang out at Pam's a bit longer that night. Maybe not stay over yet, but they are both single and in the same town - I think they'd at least bask in each other's glow for a while. (I actually don't mean that in a smutty way necessarily.)
I'll watch for the next chapter!
