Aww what a great start! This is a really unique idea -- I love the idea of Pam writing Jim unsent letters. They're so sweet yet heartbreaking at the same time. Glad you decided to continue this story. =)

and second, i read this story and finished it and was thrilled with how wonderful it was. the dream girl letters-- blah, made me feel all giddy, what girl wouldn't want to read something like that?

Author's Response: Okay, I know you reviewed this awhile ago, but I was in the midst of holiday stuff so I sort of...um...forgot. Anyway, I just wanted to say thanks for your comment. And lest you feel like it made absolutely no difference, it did actually encourage me to write part of the epilogue, which I'm still only about half done with but whatever. The point is, I really appreciate your taking the time to review this story. I had so much fun writing it, and it's really fun to hear that some people are still enjoying reading it!

Author's Response: Sorry I didn't respond to this sooner, but I wanted to have some good news for you. As it happens, I have finished at least two-thirds of the final chapter, and I've always had a good outline in place for the epilogue so that one shouldn't take too long. I'm really trying to finish this and at least one other story by the end of this month, so check back for updates soon! I can't remember if I have reviewed this story or not, but I know that I had started reading it when it was still only a few chapters in, and then lost it.
I have to tell you that to me, a good story immediately pulls me out of my reality and into the story, where it seems that I'm living in it as a secondary character who is never mentioned. This story has done just that. Your writing style is beautiful, and GAH! You had Jim kiss her gently on the neck, which just melts me! This is wonderful,and I wish I could give you an "11" rating.

I simply adore this story. I feel so bad for Pam but am so cheering Marsha on every step of the way. The build up until she finally took some action is just perfect.

Perhaps being stretched a bit (kinda like a certain 3rd season of a certain show) but good. I'd like to see more background on Marsha particularly her age so we could identify with her more.
Author's Response: Yeah, I think that's what happens when you draw your inspiration from a show that thrives on knocking its viewers over the head with the tension. As for Marsha's background some of that will be revealed in a few chapters, so I hope you'll stick with it until then. Thanks for the review!
