Ahhhh, yeah. That's the stuff.

And we're never going to see anything like this. Stupid documentary format. ;)

Author's Response: I know.  It's always going to be 10x more subtle than this....but I can dream can't I?  Thanks so much!!!

I love bantering/happy/in-love Jim and Pam. And you've got it down to a science. This makes me happy.

And once again you've nailed the voices of Jim and Pam perfectly. How do you do it?

Author's Response:

Well I am very, very glad to hear that.

HOW?   It's simple.  Greg Daniels forces me too - since he won't let the writers make them happy.   I feel compelled to write happy Jim and Pam.  Almost to prove to TPTB that it can be done.

So glad you're still reading.  Thanks so much!

First of all, Charlotte's Web is terrifying! The baby spiders fly everywhere! It is not right!!

And secondly, and more on topic, I love this. :)

Author's Response:

It is not right.  LOL!  And I'm soooooooooo glad you liked it.   Thanks so much!!!

Oh good Lord.
FLUFF. How I've missed thee.
I actually love the idea of pointing out Jim's flaws (his in particular, because we kinda get a lot of Pam's). He's still a guy, afterall.
But the idea of him freaking out about spiders had me giggling really hard...right as my boss walked by (I gotta learn to stop reading stuff @ work). Brilliant.
Seriously, there's just so much love here.
Thanks.
cheers.

Author's Response: Hee!  Thanks Lex!  (did you get my last email btw?) I tried to make Jim flawed yet lovable.  Glad I succeeded.  Thanks so much for the review!!

Such a happy story! Love to see them together and beyond contented. Thanks so much for this!

Author's Response: I need happy right now.  Glad you do too!  You are most welcome!!

Sorry, I didn't get a chance to look at it today (crazy day!), but what a treat it was.  Lovely dialogue all around.  I love how you've ended this series.  But what does it say about me that I couldn't believe he would make her drag all this dirt in their bed, and I would have been unable to *ahem* focus on anything else? LOL

Author's Response:

Oh Gen please.   I just feel bad because I really value your opinion.   But then there's me - sitting around w/time on my hands and dying to post.   You can repay me w/a recap of tomorrow's episode - as I will be off at an event and missing it. :(  Deal????

This is insanely sweet and hot.  Jim with the picking up and the dropping on the bed and the undressing?  Yeah, I'll take one of those!  Wonderful job:)

Author's Response: Seriously.  That image has haunted me for days.  So glad you liked it!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Awesome story..I love the banter between Jim & Pam.I hate to see this story end.

Awwww..... I just hope my grandkid's are still alive when this scene finally airs on the NBC version.  Of course, Jim and Pam will be played by robotic replicas who look identical to JK and JF.....

:-)  Now what shall we have you write to entertain us with next????

Author's Response:

Oh Mox - I know.  Sorry to say it probably won't happen.  When are we moving to HBO again>??? LOL!

I'm not sure...something soon I hope!!!  I will take prompts anytime...just saying!

Ahh, the ultimate in happy domesticated JAM.

And I just knew Pam kept her copy of the Kama Sutra!  Hee!  Thank God for Spring Cleaning, it will go a long way to help us through whatever GD & Co have in store for us for the rest of the season.

Author's Response:

YAY!!!  I refuse to believe Pam threw that sucker out.

Happy to do my part to help. ;)

PS - I might be almost drunk and should prob wait till tomorrow to reply but F-it.  LOL!

Yes, you can handwash dishes. I do it all the time. But I love the convience of a dishwasher. Especially since now, I am getting paranoid I am not getting all the soap out of them, and every time i see a bubble I am like "eew is that a soap bubble" and I get afraid I am injesting massive amounts of dishsoap. So, I seriously scrub them like for minutes just trying to get the last drop of soap off of them.
And I am breaking my own no smut rule (even though this was only moderate), because those two are just too darn cute!
:):)

Author's Response:

Oh EH.  Seriously you are killing me.  I hated not having a dishwasher.  My current apartment is blessed w/one but in a previous life I've been relegated to hand washing and I had the same issue.  Honestly I don't think my glasses have been so clean.  :)

Glad to see you breaking through your self imposed smut ban. ;)

This is so lovely.  Jim's voice, especially, is so good!

The following lines should make Pam want to start on those kids right now.  Or at least, you know, do a practice run: "I don't know what you think I'm doing here but let's just get something straight.  The only way I'm ever going to have kids is if I have them with you." (Melt, melt.)

Just fantastic.

Author's Response: Thanks so much TLK.  And stay tuned.  There might just be practicing next chapter.

Yay - encouraging!Jim is almost as good as sexy!Jim.  And the tasting method he uses should be illegal - that is just way too hot!  :-)  I can totally believe Pam would be worried about being a mom - being as I felt exactly the same way!!

So is it time for a little gardening, or entertainment center building??  :-)

Author's Response: It's time for something else.  You'll have to wait and see.  But it'll be steamy.  Did you get my email????   LOL!

Kids talk!  Poor Pam, she hasn't had the best luck with them, but I always love how you make Jim so supportive of her.  Everyone should be so lucky as to have a Jim in her life.

Oh, and I totally have this love/hate relationship with Rachael Ray too.  She provides interesting spins on recipes, but a lot of what she does annoys the bejesus out of me! LOL

Author's Response: I completely agree. On both counts!!   Thanks Ms. MA!!

Dwight stripping? Andy stripping? OMG I need mental floss.

:D

Author's Response:

You know it's amazing to see the interpretation of what I write.  I had not imagined either one of them stripping at all - just hijinks with the female strippers in the club - like Dwight so schnockered he's sitting there trying to entice them w/a mouthful of dollar bills - and Andy trying so hard to impress the other guys he does something incredibly inappropriate.

Hope that helps erase your mental image!

You know the great thing about this series? It really creates the sense of an ongoing relationship - like I can imagine them together even between chapters. It's like popping in, mid-flow.

Love the RR stuff - especially her dreaded EVOO cutesy-ness. Love that Jim wants it all with Pam, is unabashadley candid about it and won't let her make choices based on fear (okay, maybe I just love him - I admit it.) This is such a love-fest...how ironic that on the show they can barely speak. Oh well, when it blows, it'll blow big. (And yes, that was meant in an optimistic way!)

Author's Response:

I'm so glad you said that - because that's my intention.  Chapter 1 is when their relationship is fairly new.  The second is let's say 6 months in or so....and the third is maybe nearing a year.

Chapter 4 - well - I promised Par 5 smut.

I'm glad RR didn't send you running for the hills.  And of course he does and is and sigh - I love him too.

Amen sister.  and oh...yeah...TWSS. ;)

Awwww.  The inevitable "kids" conversation.  I remember having this conversation with Mr. GF, and I can say that it sort of went ... kind of like this, hee.  He's the one that always pushed more for kids and I'm scared out of my mind.  So, anyway -- I just wanted to say that I think you did a really good job here, and that your conversation was very realistic.  I think they're really sweet together, too.

Author's Response:

I really think Pam has no idea (up until now) that she can be, do, want something different than what she has.  I'm so glad those feelings came across in this.

I'm so glad you liked it.

"I can believe almost anything if you tell me it's true."

This took my breath away. Gorgeous. I love that they still have some trouble communicating, even when things are so good. Love, love, love. You call this light, but it isn't really fluff- it's real and has gravity. What makes it light is the joy and love infused in every line- the joy and love we wish they'd JUST GET ON WITH, ALREADY.  Heh. Love this, of course!

Author's Response:

Can you just see him reassuring her in that way?  And I can't imagine if he did that she would not respond in kind.  Hee!  You and lisahoo both loved this 3x.  My job is done.

Oh please Lis.  It's killing me.  Thank God we can just write our own ways out of it huh?

Hee!  Pam & Rachel Ray!  Great detail!  (Here's Jenna on RR: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nrMhoNgrjas )

And the whole discussion of having children was so 'them'.  Love, love, love....

Author's Response:

OK - I love that you linked that because no one caught my Meredith Vieira reference in Bath Towels.  Meredith totally has a little crush on JK.

I don't blame her the least little bit.

Thanks, thanks THANKS!

I always expect to read something great from you and you never disappoint.  This is fluffy, sure, but there is substance to it.  I read it last night and found myself still thinking about it today.  We should all be so lucky to be with someone who makes us believe in ourselves.

Author's Response:

Why thank you and wow - what a lovely compliment.  I love that something I wrote would stay with someone long enough to be with them the next day.

And yes.  I completely agree.  We definitely all should be.

I for one am in the "approximate" measurement group for cooking. Especially for things like that. I mean, am I going to estimate four cups of flour... not really. But a teaspoon of vanilla, hell yeah.
I don't like Rachel Ray's 30 minute meals, because I am 1) a very picky eater but more importantly 2) you have to spend liek an hour shopping and really know your way around a kitchen to make it in 30 minutes.
Such a realistic discussion on kids!
And Jim is just too perfect!!

Author's Response:

Oh I do too.  I don't fault RR for that at all.

Her pasta meals are my favorite - and the easiest to recreate so that's what I had them do here.

Thanks so much!!  I'm glad you thought so.  And he's not quite this perfect I don't think - but I like writing him that way. :)

I have no words for how smiley this made me. It's like The Negotiation is deleted from my brain! I love couples cooking. And the chapter title is so wonderful. Well done!

Author's Response:

Paper Jam - my work is done then.  LOL!  I really, really REALLY just want to see them together on screen.   Is that so wrong??

I refuse to believe it won't happen soon.  Glad you liked the title too - sometimes they are easy to find but I had to search a little for this one.

Awww....I love that Jim wanted to bring up Halpert-Beasly babies and how just...normal they are together.  Absolutely amazing.

Author's Response:

Thanks flamingos.  He's just the bestest ever that Jim.   No wonder Karen's holding onto him for dear life (at least in my opinion!)

I'm so glad you liked it!
