Oh, this is some great characterization for both Jan and Michael! I liked this very much. And hey, if you want to write more M/J when you're feeling Jammed out, please feel free ;)

Nice background on Jan's thoughts! And you know, she does complete Michael, so - win/win.
I really like these lines "It's just sex, she reminded herself as she hit the lock button on her key. Everyone does it. No need to be immature about the issue."
