Ohhhh, the idea that they would have had that confrontation on her wedding day absolutely pains me! I am enjoying the angst, but I'm glad less angsty stuff is most likely coming!

Hi, WildBerryJam! I'm the author of the other Eternal Sunshine fic, and I love what you're doing here. Poor Jim, though. I think, with all the angst these two have gone through, the idea behind Eternal Sunshine really fits in well. I wonder how you're going to address the mind erase and its implications. I'm struggling to write what will probably be the last chapter now. If you have a chance to read mine and have some input I'd be happy to hear it. All the best with your continuing story!
One of my favorite lines from this chapter (what a great, simple way to say something powerful): "She hugged me, but not in the way that you would want someone to hug you."

There's the other story floating around that's using Eternal Sunshine as the plot, and I haven't read that one, but I've been waiting for this one to be updated...haha. I was wondering what happened to this story. And you've been around the whole time. :)
Still loving the story. And I don't mind the angst at all. I need some angst in my life to balance out all of the really happy first date fics out there.

Haha, yep, that's me, TMIKIS! :) I'm so glad you like it! Writer's block is no fun. So I finally got decided to rewatch the movie and got over it and got around to posting this little ditty again :)
Angst is necessary at times yes. But so is fluff so it all works out in the end. And we will have fluff soon too, so have no fear! More to come.
