and very OT, but are you a Gilmore Girls fan too? because your 1,2,3 reference made me think of Lorelai and Kirk together ;)

I enjoyed it. Towards the end though, it felt a little disjointed. They jumped from the car to the room to Jim going to inquire about a room and being back without much transition. I'm looking forward to reading some more though. :)
