This is great so far, and a very original idea I've never seen explored before. It's interesting to see how the union stuff is affecting the Roy/Pam relationship, but I'm really looking forward to seeing how it'll affect the company as a whole when it really gets moving, if it does.

How cute that Pam thought Michael was going to ask her something personal, and how relieved she was when he didn't. Pam and Roy seem to be having a very warm and loving relationship - and the Memorial Day getaway will be after CN and before the wedding?

Oh man, I'm so excited to see where this goes! I wouldn't have guessed that a fic about unionizing would be all that exciting, but I have total faith that you'll do something great with it. :D
I like the boredom, the routine Pam and Roy have going -- the way she just can't be bothered to care about his union, the way she just avoids thinking about Jim like, oh, that'll work. This has a very good S2 feel to it.
Can't wait for more!

Ha, I hope you plan on updating this every day to keep me entertained. All of the Pam and Roy connection and ease wrt each other is making me so sad right now, and for some reason I'm imagining Roy with a beard just because that's how I roll. Maybe because it's the beard of sadness? Either way, it's that bittersweet feeling that I always get about those two. :(

Heh, I was totally going to update every other day and then I woke up super-impatient. We'll see if I manage to exercise any self-restraint in the future.
Maybe it's 'cause bearded Roy is hottt? And is the Sympathetic Roy? Maybe it's for the same reason that I keep accidentally imagining Jim in his s3 chair in s2 fic now? MYSTERIES.

Hmm. This is really interesting... I'm intrigued by how Roy's feeling about his job are going to affect his and Pam's relationship. Although the episode Boys and Girls was huge for Jim and Pam, I've also long been interested in what it meant for Roy: getting smacked down about the union (by Jan!) had to hurt in so many ways.
And nice Pam and Jim banter!

I really liked this. I think a lot of the time I forget just how long Pam and Roy were together. But I like how you've made them so comfortable with each other. It's refreshing. Well done!
