GOOD LORD. Here I am, playing catch up, and thank God that I waited to read this until you had the next chapter up. Pam's memory of Roy in her dorm bed and wanting him to stay forever was just...perfect Pam (and SO something someone her age can relate with) and broke my heart, and then the next part with the thinking about Jim broke it further. And the END. Okay, I'm not going to babble any further and am going to read the next chapter.

I like though, that Roy really isn't the bad guy here. He's just trying to be sensible. The problem is, for Pam, that he hasn't earned the goodwill, relationship-wise, to be sensible right then.

OH! This is sooo good. I think my heart stopped twice!

I love the way she's waiting for something to happen, to change, to make sense- and suddenly she is the one changing things, making her own sense. Brilliant.
