I like that you have Pam freaking out, but in a "realistic" kind of way. Seems like she would have pieced together that she was "Mommy" before this, but the delayed reaction is understandable ;)

Cool! This is a really interesting story so far. I love the premise, and you did a nice job of capturing Pam's confusion as she's navigating her way through this new universe.
A couple of small things - I noticed a few typos along the way, and you might want to watch your tenses - they kind of jumped back and forth a little bit as you went along.
Really interesting so far, though! Can't wait to read more.

I like everything about this story, the kids names are very cute. Little Pam and Little Jim.
I personally liked the N. Cage movie, so it's nice to see a different take on the same premise.
What's so cool about this story is how freaked Pam is about an alternative life that she really wants.
Author's Response: I'm glad you like the names! That was a struggle for me. I wanted to come up with names that sounded like ones they might actually pick. Plus, for some reason Jim reminds me of a Ben, so I thought a little Jim would fit the name nicely. Thanks for reading and reviewing!

Oh, you portrayed the awkwardness of Pam not knowing how to deal with these kids that she doesn't really know so well. That's got to be scary. I love the line, "but Jim is here and nothing bad has ever happened to her when Jim was there." Aw.

Hey, just found this. It's awesome, I love it. The idea that Pam's been placed in this alternate universe reminds me of The Family Man with Nick Cage, but sort of turned around. An awesome movie, and this story is wonderful.

i know i've said it before, but i'll say it again... i love this story. it's so INTERESTING. i just... love the idea! it's funny to me that Pam wasn't expecting, in the back of her mind, for Maddie to call her mommy... but i guess that would be too predictable, and i definitely like her little bit of confusion mixed with a sense of familiarity. great job! i can't wait to see what happens next!

Despite how awesome it would be to wake up married one day to Jim with kids, I'd be a little freaked out like Pam is too. I love the nervousness yet familiarity of everything that she's going through. I can't wait for more! :)
