Aww, so cute. I especially loved Jim not understanding the sofa comment.

Great, Swedge!  I like the changes you made!

Author's Response: Thanks. I liked what you called them: "prose poems."

That was really awesome.  I like that you took all these 55-word scenes to make a full-fledged date fic.  I thought their banter worked very well, and this was really funny:

"Have you checked your man purse?"

"My what?"

"Your satchel," said Pam.

"So that's how it's going to be tonight?"

"I've got more."

Ha.  Plus, I liked the idea that Pam was the only one who bet on herself.  Very sweet story.

Author's Response: Thanks. Hopefully his man purse satchel will be gone next season.

These are hilarious and sweet and all kinds of awesome and you really, really need to write more of them.

Author's Response: I definitely have other Pam and Jim moments in my head but they are longer and might come out in a different kind of story.

These are so cute! You capture the banter perfectly.

"Kevin had a pool going," Pam explained. "I was the only one who bet on me."

As hard as I find that to believe...I am so, so proud of her for betting on herself! I love that so much!

Author's Response: I felt like it kind of symbolized late-season 3 Pam. Thanks for the comments.

It comes with a side order of burned feet.

Oh, Swedge, I do love you.

Author's Response: And I, to you, in addition, feel the same feelings that you are as well.

Oh Swedgity-swedge-swedge.  This is like a pu-pu platter of adorable.

Karen translating Pam's speech.  Yowsa.  So true.   Denial!Jim could have gone on thinking that was just about Pam missing her 'friend'.  Nothing clearer than a girlfriend who feels threatened, though.

And Jim's man-purse, Hopeful Jim making a reservation, Pam betting on herself for the win.  All made of awesome.

Author's Response: I'm torn between thanking you and asking what a pu-pu platter is.

I'm grinning like a complete moron.  My brain was completely fried from some stupid course I'm taking and the stupid paper I'm writing and just when I was looking for a diversion- THIS came along.  You captured their voices perfectly.  It made me laugh and say "aww"- what more can you ask for? I also loved the insight into Jim's realization that Pam was THE ONE (that he finally got what Pam was saying when Karen mentioned they were done with Scranton).  I never saw it that way before- very intuitive. And the end- hilarious!

Simply adorable. Perfect. Jim's prank on Dwight! Kevin's pool! A side of burnt feet! The sofa! Inappropriate Michael! Seriously, this is a series of gems strung together and still sparkling in my head even now that I'm done reading.

"I was the only one who bet on me." Nice.

This is a great variation on the 55 theme, yet it still feels like a full length fic. Very nicely done, sir, although at what point does Jim tell Pam about Karen being run over? :)

Author's Response: Ha! And thanks, I was hoping it would feel bigger than the mere word count.

Wonderful!  I love your changes. You snuck in a whole new 55-words!  I enjoyed the appetizers/burned feet joke.

And Jim really was full of surprises that day.  If only he had figured out the sofa comment...poor Jim, lost a chance.  Next time.

Nice job.

Author's Response: Thanks again for the feedback. You were mean! Which is why this turned out half way decent.
