These are so sweet and lovely. I'm really enjoying them.
As for song suggestions, I really think "Dreaming With a Broken Heart" is SUCH a Jim-goes-to-Stamford song. Heartbreaking, but true. I even put it on a Jim/Pam mix a little while ago.

I love this story! It makes me want to break out all my John Mayer mp3s. Maybe I should re-read it while listening to each song! That's tomorrow's project!
Anyway, I think the song is "Go Anywhere", maybe? Sounds familiar.

I'd love to see a chapter set to "Daughters" if you're going to go that far in the future. Jim Halpert as a dad... guh. DILF, much?

ANd, you should re-read and listen at the same time...it's really cool to get into a story like that. That's how I write each chapter!

I almost heard gravity today (i know that isn't what this chapter is about). But they started playing it, but dinner was getting cold and I was HUNGRY. so I didn't really listen.
And then my mommy just called me in and reminded me of my other love (CSI), and so was a bit delayed in reading.
Okay, just even reading the song lyrics - can I have a Jim? Pretty please? Heck, I would take half a Jim.
"Why do inanimate objects have it so easy, she thought. They don’t have to think or feel. Lucky." totally my thoughts also. Also can work with dogs.
I think this Pam is totally how I would be in that type of relationship. Insecure, but of course not really talking about it. its so sad, that actually whenever I daydream, daydream me is insecure and not a good girlfriend.
After tell you you left a bit of italics. Those annoying things I think just italisis themselves.Its like, how did that get in there. And by tell you I mean the lyrics.
My confusing non Jim but Jim friend has that xray to heart thing. Its like, I swear, once I said hey and the next thing he typed was "what the hell is wrong with you" and its like, how did you know i just had the day from hell?
And Go Anywhere is the song right? okay, I just googled it, and then closed the tab and got distracted, and so who knows. I was about to type it was icky, but that was a line for the chat.

And, the song is the beginning of "Why Georgia" off of the Any Given Thursday CD. Amazing live album!!! It's actually better than his studio recordings.
Also, GRAVITY is a very good song. Listen to it when you can. Great stuff....

My favorite line. Great description and lovely lovely job. I heart this chapter a tiny bit more than others simply because this is one of my favorite songs too :) I was actually contemplating e-mailing you and being like ooh you should do this song and then like 20 min. later? *bing* you have mail. :) Great minds think alike!!

More good stuff! The image of them both being up late at night wondering what the other is doing is too much! I like this Mayer song too. I thought of another one you could use - A Love Song For No One. That one is perfect for S2 Jim!
