I really have to get busy downloading all those Mayer songs!!!
Those first paragraphs are breaking my heart. Poor Jim. Thatwas a rough summer for both of them. This summer (for the fictional characters I care so deeply about) will be better)
So you get a thousand scrhute bucks for doing what i remember you saying you couldn't do. because i remember talking to you way back a few months ago, and we were talking about getting inside jims head and exploring his side of this season, and you said you didn't think you could and this is wonderful jim inner monologue and thoughts and feelings over that process. and so you are awesome. or i am misattributing somebody else to you.
You can do angst. Cause um, I forgive you and I have fluffiness in my heart right now. But, it was good sad angst. But they are happy.

This is my favorite song from John's new album, and this is perfect! I listened to it while I read it (I still have to go back and do that for the other chapters), and it totally made it even better. I can't wait to see what else you have!
(And if you're open to suggestions, "I'm Gonna Find Another You" sort of describes Jim and Katy's "relationship" to me. I always thought that Katy resembled Pam in some ways!)

This chapter, although extremely painful to read, was terrific. You captured the mood perfectly. I cringed reading that PLoD scene from The Merger, but you nailed it! Great job on this chapter!
