This precisely captures the tone and substance of that scene - Jim's sad, hopeless, resignation about Pam; how sweetly he wants to reassure Michael of their friendship; his attraction/repulsion about confiding in Michael...just perfect. So poignant. And I think Michael's voice reads loud and clear.

I was so excited to see that you had updated.
I always love the moments that you create because they feel so true to the characters and the show--like they really could have been moments that the camera just didn't catch.
This one was so gorgeously sad. Loved the way you wrote Jim's thoughts--and you shouldn't worry about the way you write Michael because I could definitely hear him saying the things you wrote in my head.
