Yay! I remember reading this ages ago, getting so invested in it and then it just....stopped. And I was so sad so when I saw you updated, all I could say was yay! I love the parallels drawn between Pam's confession to Jim's but my favourite line has to be "Hell yes". I know life is infinitely more important than curing my boredom, but please update again soon! You're so close to the end! :) Just to emphasize my point: Yay!

What a nice surprise to find an update to this, one of my favorites. And what a great chapter too! Too often when WIPs take long to be updated I find that the latter chapters are not as good as the beginning of the stories. This is not the case with yours. I look forward to your next chapter, however long it takes. :)

Oh I've totally been at work with projects like this! Love it.
And the last part about how they fall asleep together and gah, it's just great. I hope we get the last installment sooner than later ;)

It in no way makes up for the absence because, hello? Taunting cliff-hangery-ness!
However, it was a lovely chapter. Especially loved this:
she knows that I don’t just mean physically tired, but the kind of exhaustion that comes with the last game of the season. You’ve rooted for your team, cheered and screamed and booed when things didn’t go their way, but your support wasn’t enough to bring them to victory. Except this time, you’ve had enough, and you won’t be back next season.
Poor Jim. But, yay, she's tired too!
Hope senior year isn't kicking your ass so much that the next chapter is months away, heh.

Just read this again from the beginning, and it's simply fantastic. You're just completely inside Jim's mind and you've got his voice down so perfectly. Like this: And even though it’s a coward move, I don’t wait to see her let herself back into the life she’s settled for. And this: My mind briefly wonders how she’s going to explain it to Roy, if he notices, if she’ll tell the truth, whatever the hell that may be.

Wow. What a chapter. First I was sad when they were at Rite Aid, then I was nervous when they were at Pam's house as I was afraid Roy would confront them, then I went back to sad and ended up very, very happy. Great ending to the 7:00 hour. It gave me goose bumps. Can't wait to see what 8pm brings....
