Enter me squealing: THEY ARE GOING TO HAVE A HOUSE, WITH LITTLE BABY HALPERTS RUNNING AROUND!!!!

I'm so proud of Pam and her awesomeness. Off to read more!!!!!

Author's Response:

In some of my other stories (some of the "Holiday" series), there are little Halperts running around! Also little Schrutes.  But they aren't computer-based stories.

I'm glad you like Pam here; I'm assuming "her awesomeness" might mean her tough approach to Michael.  It was fun to write that.

hehe.  I love this.  How creepy would it be to have to spend the night (or several) at the beet farm?  Ew.  However it makes for some funny stuff.  This story is made of awesome!  Whittle some more as soon as you can, okay?

Author's Response:

I'd especially dislike having to use the bathroom under the front porch...strange!  I should have the last chapter posted before the season premiere.   I'm glad you like the story!

Thanks so much for reading and reviewing, kells!

You added a bunch of things I hadn't seem before. Beardy! How surprised I was when he was thrown into the mix in a subtle way. Good job, fun story.

Author's Response:

Our good friend Bob Eardy.  Won't it be fun if Beardy's name really turns out to be Bob Eardy?  Or maybe Brandon Eardy, so his email can be BEardy.  We can only hope.

Thanks for reading a time or two, Swedge, and for reviewing! ;)

I was laughing out loud the whole time I read this.  All the characters are just excellent.

Author's Response:

Thanks so much, Vampiric Blood!  I was trying to get the characters okay, and I think it makes it a little bit easier when they're writing - we don't have any of their writing in canon to compare to!  So I probably gave myself a slightly easier job at it.

I'm glad you're liking it.  There will be 3 more chapters...

Thanks for reading and reviewing!

"Don't try to contact them on your own—I told them you died." lol... that's funny... great story!

Author's Response:

Thanks kgreene.  That Michael is like a kid, isn't he?  He needs very specific rules and boundaries.  And maybe one of those electric collars to keep him inside his boundaries. ;)

Thank you so much for reading and reviewing!

Ha, this is lots of fun! I love the idea of Jim at Dwight's, and I like how you've fleshed out the story. Can't wait to read more!

Author's Response: I'm glad you liked it, McGigi!  Thanks so much for reading and reviewing!

OMG, Jim held hostage at the beet farm -- too funny.  They need to just give in and acknowledge that they are secretly friends.

FNB in da house, er office!!!  Very crafty.  And a bit disturbing on what Michael would come up with.  Eww.

Author's Response:

To be fair to Michael, in my story, he read it in Maxim.  And you know how susceptible to suggestion he is.  If you haven't yet, read the response to the first review to see where that really came from.

OMG, Dwight's kind of Jim's friend!!!

Thanks for reading and reviewing, lisahoo!

FNB indeed! Did this idea of Michael's actually come out of Maxim magazine or just your twisted imagination? J/K. ;)   This story is hilarious. "double boober thing"? LMFAO.  Seriously, sooo Michael.  I am looking forward to the update.

Author's Response:

Actually, I know nothing about Maxim magazine, or whether it would have this sort of thing in it.  In all seriousness, the idea came from a combination of two things.  One, years ago when I was a brand new mom, I belonged to a newsgroup for nursing moms, and sometimes trollish guys would post, trying to get exactly this type of thing from the nursing moms.  We threw those nasty trolls off, but they do exist.  The other thing was a serious article for adoptive moms who wanted to try to nurse, and how to get their bodies to do that even though they hadn't been pregnant.  From those two bizarre sources, a bizarre Michael sub-plot was born.  (And nourished - ba dum bump.)  That was probably way more than you wanted to know.  TMI, my friend. TMI.

Also, Michael is the sort of person who doesn't think about things first.  Remember how he really wanted a stripper for his birthday?  And then he wanted the stripper in Ben Franklin until she 'danced up on' him?  I could see him reading something like this and following blindly until...EWWWW!

There should be 5 chapters, Monday through Friday, one a day throughout this week.  That's the hope, providing my betas and I can manage it.  It should be done before the premiere, anyway.

I also thought "double boober thing" sounded very Michael.

I'm really glad you liked it, and thanks so much for reviewing, Pamela.  (Hey, have we met?  Your name sounds so familiar...)
