This is great! You've got the three of them spot on! I am totally unable to pick out the parts I like the best because ... it's the whole thing! This is one of your best opens yet, kgreeene!
Just one thing threw me a little. Dwight starts with "number 1" then goes on to "number two." I don't know, I guess I watched too much Star Trek: Next Gen or something but I thought the "number two" was referring to the person of Pam or Jim. I kept rereading it thinking he was addressing Jim with number two and Pam with number three. Maybe it's just me. Probably it's just me. But I think I would've been less confused if you'd stuck with either arabic or spelled out numbers.
Author's Response: I admit, I can never see the phrase "Number 1" and not hear Patrick Stewart's voice in my head but I didn't think it would a problem here. That's interesting. I don't know if anyone else had that same reaction. Hmmmm..... well, thank you for the kind words about the rest of it, I really appreciate it!

Author's Response: Thanks! I'd like to see a bit more sweetness between Jim and Pam as well... but they have to be careful with that. Then people will get sick of it. They do a good job, overall, I think. We've seen some nice moments between them this season. Who knows what the season finale will bring?

Welcome back, Kevin! So glad you're inspired. This was one of your better efforts IMHO. I mean, they're all good, but you know what I mean ; ) It was fun to envision this playing out. Looking forward to whatever else you have in store.
