Aww! Nice one, Azlin! I especially like this sentence: "The fact that Pam, of all people, had thought she needed to come up with something like this just to get his attention, was just wrong"
And it's funny, but when Jim found something, I had no idea what he found until Pam said soda. So as I read a chapter, I'm not thinking "where's the grape soda reference going to come in"? I think that's a good thing; I don't even remember that grape soda will come in somewhere. ;)
Author's Response: Oh good! I'm glad to hear that you didn't suspect grape soda. That was the whole idea! I love these later chapters because it was so fun to write them together. I didn't think I'd have anything left to say since I've spent so many months writing them apart, but it turned out to be even more fun than my earlier stories! Apparently I'm a sucker for happy endings, and happy middles, and happy beginnings! ;)
