Can't wait can't wait, chapter three! Are fuzzy navels a real drink? Wait, don't tell me, I want to believe in them. And the dialogue is so nicely done. And they should probably talk sometime, no matter how each avoids it- ah, leave it to Dwight to bring people together, that's one of my favorite devices ever. In short: amazing, particularly the impersonating a crisis counselor=felony bit. Gold.

Thanks Ardens! Dwight is pretty much the best plot device in existence, and the crisis counselor thing was soooo fun to write.
Oh, and fuzzy navels are real drinks. It's peach schnaps, orange juice, and sometimes people add a splash of vodka. Deeeelicious. But very girly :)

So. You already know how much I heart this and all that jazz so really I'm just reiterating the fact that you pretty much just rock at life and I love this story and I can't wait for more (even tho I feel special and have read more than others..... still!)

Hmm. What kind of joyful song? Because I don't want you to sponaneously burst into It's a Small World. I wouldn't wish that on anyone. Anyways, this is a great story with nice long chapters that do not feel incomplete when you get to the end. I enjoy how you are writing classic Jim and Pam in their perpetual circle of love, denial, and hope. I am looking forward to the next chapter.

What a succinct way to sum up the Jam cycle! Yes, we're entering the denial phase now, but by chapter four I think we'll be in Phase Hope. And then chapter five, well, you know...
As for my song, I just went to see Across the Universe, so I'm picking from a medley of happy Beatles songs! Right now it's "It Won't Be Long." Thank you for your concern though :)

Thanks for giving me such a lovely way to procrastinate from work on Monday morning, lol.
Angst works for me when it's not melodramatic, but written with believable character voices and in the show's tone (i.e., with a bit of comic relief)...and this does all that and more. The Dwight encounter was excellent and Jim being conflicted about being with Pam, yet desperate for it not to end comes across perfectly. Really looking forward to seeing where you go with this.

This is really good. I especially liked the joke about Creed, and Dwight's "Pam, Jim is not your best friend. You hardly even talk" and the ensuing silence. It's awesome, that you had Dwight call Pam on the 'best friend' thing.
For joyful song, might I recommend "Ode to Joy"?
