Wow. The repetition is such a cool device; it creates a pulse for this piece that really ramps up the tension. Nice choice of "hearing" for Jim, and "feeling" for Pam, too- since stereotypically men are more physical and women more emotional, it really rings true. Excellent job for your first fic. Write more!
