I'm with Jim on this one... I don't think any sale could get me out of bed at 4a.m. Although I did queue in a very long line of people until 2a.m. for the last Harry Potter novel... but that's just good sense :).

ha, this is great! i don't live in the US, so i honestly didn't know what black friday was until about 2 weeks ago (there was a reference to it in another story) so this is like my guide! lol.

This story needs a disclaimer...women, don't try this at home. As a guy who hates both shopping and mornings, this story qualifies as "angst" for me. I hope in the conclusion Jim gets to nap on the couch and watch football for several hours.

I love it! I've been working in retail since I was sixteen. I never seem to enjoy the perks of black friday. I work at Toys R' Us. At 4 our entire parking lot was filled! It gets pretty crazy. We had 3 fights break out and several people cried over not getting what they wanted. Can't wait to see what happens when Jim attacks electronics! Great start though.
